Attending Commencement - Law
Your graduate's commencement activities will take place in downtown Chicago, at the Civic Opera House and Two N. Riverside Plaza.
Seating for guests is open. No tickets are required, and guests are seated on a first-come first-served basis. In the event of an excessive number of attendees, DePaul University and the Civic Opera House cannot guarantee seating for all.

Guests may enter the Civic Opera House through the
main entrance located at the corner of Madison Street and Wacker Drive.
Please demonstrate respect for all graduates and plan to stay for the duration of the ceremony. Each commencement ceremony is expected to last approximately 1½ to 2 hours.
After the ceremony, guests may meet their graduate at a celebratory reception, held at
Two North Riverside Plaza.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Civic Opera House is a fully handicapped-accessible facility. A team of professional ushers will be on hand to assist all individuals.
To access the reception at
Two North Riverside Plaza via wheelchair, a ramp will be located at the north entrance. Disabled individuals can pass in front of the Civic Opera House and enter the reception from
Washington Boulevard.
Graduates with family members who have special seating needs are asked to please check the box which asks about special seating needs on the on line degree conferral application. Failure to do so may mean seating is not available.
